No Straw Men

It’s not only possible to smoke pot and go on to live a productive life, that’s by far and away what most people who smoke the drug actually do. The fact that all of the politicians listed above still support drug prohibition and the continued funding of farcical government organizations like ONDCP is the real shame, here.

When he arrives at 1600 Pennsylvania, Mr. Obama will have not just a political base, but a database, millions of names of supporters who can be engaged almost instantly. And there’s every reason to believe that he will use the network not just to campaign, but to govern.

Obama says, "I'm not having any fun at all." And Reggie, his personal assistant, without blinking an eye, pipes up and says, "Man, I'm having the time of my life!"

If Sarbanes-Oxley is not repealed, then we could see Silicon Valley's status as a hotbed of innovation erode and see more and more of the future invented outside of the United States.
